Sources evaluated and not used
Listed for transparency, because an absent dataset shapes what this site can say as much as a present one does.
- Shadowserver Foundation — would provide exposed-service counts for UAE networks. Its dashboard API requires an access request that this project has not obtained, so no attack-surface figures are published.
- aeCERT — the UAE national Computer Emergency Response Team, which operates within the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority. Its public news archive has not been updated since 2018, so it is cited as an authority but not consumed as a feed.
Figures derived from any source are only as good as that source. Limitations are set out in the methodology.
